It’s been a while since golf fans have seen Tiger Woods compete in a PGA Tour event.
That lengthy layoff is finally over. On Friday afternoon, Woods revealed when he plans to play his next PGA Tour event and fans are loving the news.
Woods will be back next weekend. That’s right, the legendary golfer is ready to tee it up next weekend at the Genesis Invitational.
“I’m ready to play an ACTUAL PGA Tour event next week,” he said while tagging the Genesis Invitational’s Twitter account.
It makes sense for Tiger to target the Genesis Invitational since he’s the one who hosts the tournament every year. It will be a familiar course for Woods, who has dominated the venue over the years.
This will be the first competitive event Woods has played in since the Open Championship in 2022. He teed it up in the Match recently, but this will be a different beast.
What should fans expect from Tiger next weekend?
