Just a few weeks ago the Carolina Panthers hired Frank Reich as the team’s new head coach.
Reich has been methodical in his approach to the coaching staff. However, he made a major decision about offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo on Thursday afternoon.
According to a new report, the Panthers will have a new offensive coordinator in 2023. McAdoo is out of the job.
“Ben McAdoo will not be returning as Panthers offensive coordinator,” local reporter Will Kunkel said.
Former Panthers head coach Matt Rhule hired McAdoo as the team’s offensive coordinator just over a year ago. After fielding several different quarterbacks, though, the Panthers offense struggled over the majority of the season.
Now the team is set to have its third offensive coordinator in as many seasons.
Who will the Panthers pick next?
